A new perspective

Nothing can make you look at things differently like your kids do. And I don't mean the way you look back on your childhood and think about how it's amazing you survived your no-car-seat-no-seat-belt childhood. I'm talking about how the smallest things can look like the most amazing things in their eyes. Take this house that we rented on our vacation to O'ahu, for example.

When I saw it, I saw a double bed that seemed to be half the size of the bed I share with my husband at home. I see tight quarters and cramped spaces. To them? They used words like cozy and cute. In fact, my youngest told me that his favorite thing about our trip to O'ahu was the house. It's all about perspective!
