I know I'm being overly sentimental here, but...

....my baby is officially not a baby. He's 18 months old today and such a big boy. I am always amazed at how much love I have for this little guy. I wasn't too sure about him for the first few months...he was a difficult baby. And, he still has his moments now, but overall, he's a good kid who lights up my world when he smiles at me. His new thing is to tickle me. We went shopping this morning, and all the while, he's tickling me. And laughing that addictive and contagious belly laugh. He's at such a great age. So fun and funny. Independent, but still needs his momma and likes to give me hugs and kisses. I love him so much. I'm such a lucky woman to have such wonderful kids in my life. What blessings, they are. Even if they are the most stubborn children on the face of the planet.

When Morgan was 18 months old, I was astounded by her vocabulary and the pace with which she was acquiring new words. I took a moment to stop and write down every word she knew. She knew about fifty words at 18 months, which was astounding to me. So, about a week ago, I started jotting down Bennett's words. 90+ words this little boy knows. 94!! And that's just as of right this moment. I added a bunch to it, just today. His favorite thing to say is "Let's Go!" and I think we all know why....
